How do we get ourselves in such messes? If it’s not one thing it’s another. Relationship messes. Health messes. Home messes. Work messes. It leaves us felling stuck in one place as if nothing will ever change. We may even find ourselves circling the same messes for years and years with no end in sight.
I can’t help but think about the people of Israel as they were wandering in the desert going round and round in circles. They were stuck in a mess. Then God told them…………. “You have made your way around this hill country long enough; now turn north.” (Deut. 2:2-3)
A pivotal moment for them, a life changing choice. Just stop and go the other direction.
Let’s head North….stop the circling and head another direction. What have we got to lose?
