I am a wife, mother, grandmother and busy lady. I was born needing to be creative and I found myself in professions that allowed me to express and use my God given talents. It also provided me with a schedule where I could be involved with my son and daughter’ lives. Whether I was pursuing my ideas through my own business as an interior designer, or working alongside my husband building beautiful homes, I found teaching and writing was always a passion and whether it was design classes or bible studies I loved the preparation and study. God has truly blessed me with a life where I’ve been able to do the things I love.
Being a mother has been a blessing but what a joy when those grandbabies came along. I have always enjoyed crafting, sewing and drawing and now my little ones love doing crafts with me. Throughout the years, over 15 as a matter of fact, I have had the opportunity to lead in a small group bible study where deep friendships have developed. I’ve had the desire for quite some time to compile those thoughts and written devotions into a collection that I could leave as a legacy for my family. Then the thought came that maybe others could be encouraged by my thoughts, stories and creations. If one person is blessed through my encouragements that is a true legacy.
My written thoughts are light-hearted often combining current day topics with comparisons from our favorite bible stories. Take a moment from your busy day for a brief “Food for Thought” moment. I’m opening my heart to you…….. “Neglect not the gift that is in thee…” (1 Tim. 4:14)
