You Are Driving Me Crazy

HomeBlogYou Are Driving Me Crazy

I’m sure you have said this before, or it has been said to you. I know I have told my kids, “You are driving me crazy,” as I pretended to pull out my hair. I know that my parenting skills have been the topic on Focus on the Family’s Program more than one time. However, sometimes a little crazy goes a long way. Sometimes, acting crazy is the right thing to do.

You Are Driving Me Crazy

I love the story in (Luke 18:1-8) of the Persistent Widow. Apparently, she would not leave the Judge in the city alone. She knew she had not received justice and needed him to listen to her. She pestered him to death. Over and over, even going to his home (I love this part in verses 4-5): “The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, but THIS WOMAN IS DRIVING ME CRAZY. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests.”

Who, or what, is on your desperate list? Who, or what, will you not give up on? Who is worth your persistence, even at the risk of being ridiculed or called crazy?

Sometimes, a little CRAZY goes a long way.
